North Sacramento Community Development Corporations is designed to serve as place based, mission-driven connectors and conveigners for community groups, local government, and other regional entities. The Community Development Corporation partners with and supports these groups in achieving their individual goals by providing technical assistance, leveraging resources, identifying shared priorities, and spearheading initiatives to address those issues. By acting as a connector of organizations with a holistic view of the community, the North Sacramento Community Development Corporation is poised be a major catalyst for positive development North Sacramento.
HOUSING AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT
Promote strong communities and work for the preservation and expansion of safe and affordable housing in the North Sacramento area.
Through a process of stakeholder engagement and a strengths-based needs assessment, the CDC selects areas of focus and potential projects. With a holistic approach and a commitment to community guided sustainable development, the CDC works with groups to pursue efforts and projects that further the quality of life in North Sacramento. From health and resource fairs for residents to special promotional events that help introduce local businesses to the greater Sacramento region, the CDC will have the resources, expertise, and capacity to lead diverse initiatives.
